Q.  Can you explain a little further about the plans?

1. Free Plan (Free)

Message(including free Voice and Video calls, Note, Event, Folder), Contacts, and Home(limited features) included.
Simple Admin features can also be used. SLA is not included.

2. Lite plan (¥300/mo. – annual contract, ¥360/mo. – monthly contract)

Message(including free Voice and Video calls, Note, Event, Folder), Contacts, and Home included.
Various security features, audit log, monitoring etc. can also be used for Administrators.

3. Basic plan (¥500/mo. – annual contract, ¥600/mo. – monthly contract)

Message(including free Voice and Video calls, Note, Event, Folder), Contacts and Home as well as 30GB of e-mail and 1TB of Group Folder storage can be used. Various security features, audit log, monitoring etc. can also be used for Administrators.

4. Premium plan (¥1,000/mo. – annual contract, ¥1,200/mo. – monthly contract)

Message(including free Voice and Video calls, Note, Event, Folder), Contacts and Home as well as unlimited e-mail, 1TB of Drive and 10TB of Group Folder storage can be used. Various security features, audit log, monitoring etc. as well as the archiving(storing logs for up to 10 years) can also be used for Administrators.

Q.  Are there any conditions of usage such as registration cost or minimum number of users to apply?

If you apply on our website, no additional cost is needed for registration, setup, etc.

Also, you may apply starting with 1 user.

Q.  Can I upgrade to a higher plan even after starting to use the service?

Yes.

You can upgrade anytime by visiting the Purchase menu at Admin Console during the service usage period.
To upgrade to a Basic or Premium plan, you need to verify your domain.

Q.  Are there any restrictions in usage period for Free plan?

Free plan is automatically canceled if you do not use it for 180 days.

Otherwise, there is no limit on the use period.

Q.  Can I use LINE WORKS even if I do not own a LINE account?

Sure.

To use the service, you can create a LINE WORKS account in case you don’t have LINE account.

Q.  Tell me the difference between an annual contract and a monthly contract.

1. Annual contract

It is a contract that renews on a yearly basis assuming to use the service for one year. The price of individual license is the price of the annual contract shown in the table above, and the subscription fee will be calculated according to the number of contracted licenses and paid monthly. You can add licenses at any time, but you can reduce licenses only when contract is renewed. You can delete members at any time, but it will not affect your subscription fee.

2. Monthly contract

The unit price of the member is the price of the monthly contract shown in the table above, and the subscription fee is calculated according to the number of members actually registered on the service. If you unsubscribe the service in the middle of the month the subscription fee will be calculated in a prorated way. You can add and delete members at any time.

Q.  Tell me the difference between a user and a license.

1. User/Member

It refers to the service user who was invited to LINE WORKS. Mainly, the members mean LINE WORKS users within the same tenant (or tenants which are functionally linked). The user/member is invited by the administrator of the LINE WORKS service or by the user/member with invitation authority.

2. License

It refers to the number of users specified when signing an annual contract. The number of members actually invited to the tenant can’t access the number of licenses.

* What is a tenant?
It is the area for service use allocated to one contract of LINE WORKS.
Members enter this area by logging in to LINE WORKS and use each function.

Q.  How and when should I pay?

For payment of subscription fees, LINE WORKS employs a deferred payment system in which payments are made the following month according to the contracted number of licenses for yearly plans or the number of registered users in the current month for monthly contracts.

The fee is paid in the following month after it is determined based on the type of plan used for a month, the contracted number of licenses (for annual contracts) or number of registered users (for monthly contracts), and calculated daily wages for the number of days used. Payment can be made with either credit card or LINE Pay.

Q.  Can I sign up for multiple plans for a single contract or tenant?

No, you cannot.

Only one plan can be used with one contract or tenant.

Q.  Is it possible to downgrade my plan?

No.

Since you cannot downgrade the plan after starting service or after upgrading, please be careful to select the plan.
